Some Birds Photo, Old And New

in Feathered Friends4 years ago

It is about time to clean old photos that I do not like so much and definitely not of a good quality. While doing this I come across some that I am pretty sure I haven't posted. That is how this post is about to be created.

Going back, not too far, just few months ago when I did the following photos. Young sparrow being fed and having some insect in its beak, a fly perhaps. I noticed it only when I zoomed the photo.

Next photos I was about to delete, thinking that a shot of the tree is not good enough to keep it. Again after zooming I saw that actually I was trying to photograph the greenfinch.

Here is a black bird with lots of bugs in its beak, probably bringing to feed its chick.

What on earth this jackdaw has in its beak?

Whatever it is, I think it will go for building its nest.

Another jackdaw I caught in the park.

This dove looked straight into the camera. With its head cocked, the dove is quite curious, isn't it?

And all these were old photos. Let's see some new ones.

Last week I saw many great tits flying from one tree to another. Here is one that found and was not on a tree.

And sparrows again.

The last shot for today is the one I am most pleased with. My problem is to get the right sharpness and here I got something that finally was sharp.

Although I cropped the image it did not loose much of its quality.

Today I did few shots of sparrows only, which I will show next time. I wasn't lucky to spot woodpeckers and hope tomorrow to see some. I am after the gray woodpecker. My hubby managed few shots some days ago and I wish to have a chance to make a decent photo.

And that is all for now. Until next time!

Oh, there are plenty around me. I was surprised how many of them got accustomed to humans.

Very nice collection of birds’ photos.

Thank you my friend for your sweet comment. 😀
I wish I could get some better photos, specially in flight. That is going to be tricky, because I will have to invest in tripod some day.

My pleasure and i am sure at some stage you will be getting that tripod out which will take you to a whole new level you do have the ambition to make it there 👍
