Surprisingly, I met this flycatcher in the city. As a rule, they could be seen among the trees in a clearing in the city park. They flew as a rule in small flocks of 4-6 individuals. Sitting on the branches, they looked out for flying insects and, making a semicircle, they quickly flew up to the insects and grabbed them.
Rare insects managed to dodge these dexterous flycatchers.
This flycatcher was just sitting on the railing of the gate. How did she come here. Maybe she flew in a flock of sparrows that fluttered on the branches of a tree nearby.
I have never seen flycatchers among the houses in the city.
Perhaps she flew from the city park, which was not so far away.
I was very glad to see her. It is rare to see this bird in the yard of the house.
She sat for a long time. Then it took off and flew further into the courtyard of the house where large trees grew.
nice shots. thanks for sharing
Many thanks. Glad you liked it
Firstly, your images are stunning! Well done on capturing this friend. And secondly, this bird is so pretty! You are indeed lucky that he/she came out of the flock away from his/her friends to sit for you like this.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked my photos.
