Whenever I walk through the park, I take sunflower seeds with me. There is a place in the park where many different feeders hang. People try to feed the birds during this cold, rainy time. I also try to pour seeds into the feeders when I walk past them.
Titmouse usually live in this place. There are more of them here. However, other birds also come. These are nuthatches, pikas, jays, magpies, jays. Even one woodpecker constantly flies. There are coniferous trees growing on the alley on which there are many cones. So the woodpecker flies in and starts pecking at them. There must be good seeds in there.
Arriving nuthatches often climb into bird feeders and drag seeds from there. But tits take it easy. They don't chase away the nuthatch. They understand that it is cold, but everyone wants to eat.
But crawlers also treat tits with respect. Grabbing one seed, they fly away to give way to tits.
So the birds live quite amicably. The only ones who don't follow the rules are pigeons. They brazenly try to get into the feeders and do not let anyone else in.
Of course, it is very interesting to watch how birds eat food from feeders. You are always glad that the birds just seeing me approach the feeders immediately flock. They sit on the branches of trees and patiently wait for me to fill them with seeds.
It's good that so many birds fly here. Humans help conserve their populations.
