On the edge of the forest by the river there is a place where there is a stump from a cut down old big tree. It resembles a small round table. People always come to this place walking along the path through the forest. They leave various food for birds and other inhabitants of the forest on the stump.
There on that stump you can always see seeds, nuts. Sometimes children leave cookies there for the birds.
Today I saw a nuthatch on a stump, happily pecking at the food left there.
He was so busy that he seemed not to notice me at all. The nuthatch looked at the small pieces of cookies and then began to peck them with pleasure. Apparently he liked them very much.
He even turned his back to me so as not to be distracted from eating. Nuthatches often fly to this place. They have apparently already gotten used to the fact that they can always find food here.
I didn't stop him from enjoying his delicious food and went further along the path in the hope of seeing other birds.
It's been AGES since I saw one of those. Nice clicks!
It seems to be a small bird, I don't know how you were able to see it, dear friend @nilpan
