It's winter now. This year it's real. The frosts are good, sometimes down to minus 30 at night. It's good that there is no strong wind. The birds hid. Now I remember the warm autumn, when they could often be seen in the park and in the forest.
They often gathered on lawns and looked for food under fallen leaves. Autumn this year was delayed and was warm and without rain.
It was nice and convenient for the birds to stir up the leaves and look for larvae and worms. Moreover, the warm weather contributed to the availability of good food for birds.
The birds, collecting food under the foliage, were peacefully next to each other and did not conflict. It was interesting to watch how they deftly ruffled the leaves together.
Of course, now in winter it is difficult for them to find food for themselves. But many people organize bird feeders. Sometimes they just lay out food in the snow. Birds always gratefully rush to take food and eat it.
They look like they had a good time :) Hopefully the winter doesn't get too bad there!
