Tits get seeds from the feeder

Now it's winter and the real winter frosts have come. For birds, this is an unfavorable period of time. They have a hard time finding food. All the insects hid deeply from the cold. Many birds have moved to the outskirts of cities. I often go to the nearby park. You can always meet tits there. People hung up various bird feeders so that those who wish could put food for the birds in them.

I always take sunflower seeds with me for birds. Birds often sit near the feeders and wait for food to be brought to them. Many people bring bread, which is placed next to the feeders. Sometimes I take pieces of unsalted lard and tie them next to the feeders.

Tits are very fond of fat. They cling to it with their paws and bite off small pieces. In winter, this is very good food for them.

They grab a sunflower with their beak and immediately fly away to sit on a tree branch and eat it. It's funny how tits don't fight over food. They sit on the branches and each waits for its turn when it will be possible to fly up to the feeder.

Here in this photo, the tit found a seed for itself, grabbed it with its paw and sends it right into its beak. She knows well that other tits are waiting for her.

These tits are waiting for their turn for food. It is good that in winter there are people who take care of the birds when it is difficult for them to find food for themselves.
