Hello feathered friends,
Yesterday morning I woke up very early and after breakfast and coffee went for a walk. This time I headed to the neighboring village walking along the road. And just a few hundred meters from the village in the woods by the road, I noticed a red-backed shrike.
Not far from this bird, African stonechats are also inhabited. Males are much bolder and easier to approach. Next to each male, one or two females are hidden in the bushes. This time one female was brave and could be photographed.
The sound of the great reed warbler echoed in the reeds growing near the irrigation canal.
And where their song is heard, you can always hear the song of a common cuckoo. Because in the great reed warbler nests they usually lay their eggs.
Western yellow wagtail and white wagtail are located next to the water in the canal.
And a little further away, white storks, great gray herons, and several other birds are enjoying the sunny morning.
Thank you for stopping by and supporting my content!
Great walk and observation👍
Thanks.
