🦉 The grey wagtail (Motacilla cinerea)
📚 Motacilla lat .: mōto, mōtare move continuously, -cilla tail (cilla like a tail - only in ornithology, erroneous established name)
📚 cinerea lat.: cineris ash, cinereus, cineraceus ash gray

Recent photos of this wagtail. And unfortunately our last meeting, since then I have not seen these birds for 3 years. This is not surprising, they are very rare. If only because they live near water sources in the mountains. And the mountains are very, very far from my city. And to see this bird here is generally a rarity. It's not clear how she got here.

The bird desperately sang a song, and all in vain, of course there were no birds of this kind around.
By the way, it was in a mixed forest, and a lot of construction debris in the form of concrete beams was piled up near the territory of the reserve-peak substation of the thermal power plant.
This wagtail is very similar to its closest relative, the yellow wagtail. She differs from her gray plumage on top, and in my opinion the yellow color of her plumage is more saturated.

Such a cute bird. These birds in my locality are rare, only during spring season I can find their rarest presence in our locality. Nice shot.
Thanks!
Весьма оригинальная трясогузка. Повезло её увидеть. Отличное фото.
