This unusual bird I manage to meet not often, very rarely. And only in the spring, in most cases, I only hear it. The male, hiding well somewhere in the middle of the foliage and the earth, sings a mating song which consists of grunting and gurgling sounds.
Taking a photo of this bird is generally incredibly difficult. Here, you see in general all my photos of this bird. I only managed to do it twice.

Once, having heard this bird near the ravine, I did not pay attention to it, because I was ready in advance that I simply would not see this bird. However, luck smiled at me, and the male jumped onto a tree branch! And I very carefully, trying not to frighten away the bird, took these photos and videos.
