🦉 The common chaffinch or simply the chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)
- fringilla (lat.) - finch; fi nco (Old German), fi nc (Old English)
- coelebs coelebs (lat.) - single, idle, unmarried
I always look forward to the arrival of these wonderful singers. As soon as the snow begins to melt, I go into the forest or grove and listen to see if these birds are singing. Males arrive early and begin to seek out and occupy territories.
The females arrive later, and as you can see, they are colored brown.
The songs of these birds can be heard until summer, and then the birds have family concerns, and they lead a hidden lifestyle, just like everyone else.

Мне нравятся зяблики. Очень похожи на маленьких попугайчиков. Отличное фото.
