There is one place in my favorite forest that I call the "territory of birds of prey". It is here that I meet kites in large numbers, shrikes, ravens, kestrels and of course buzzards.
Buzzards appear in this place around July; most likely they do not even nest here, but use these places as temporary ones. Because I always see several of them, usually two adult birds and one or two children or teenagers.
Their children, as always, sit on the branches and scream. And parents are each in their place. One flies around and controls the situation, sometimes sits on the tops of trees and observes. And the second parent is on the hunt, looking for small rodents.
