These birds are quite rare, and you need to know where to look for them. And this needs to be done near rivers. Which is exactly what I have been doing for many years. It is in close proximity to rivers (in my city, and in flooded meadows in the steppe) that I always meet these birds. What completely distinguishes them from other birds of this family (Paridae)
I took these pictures in the fall near a large river flowing along several cities. In the bushes I heard the familiar voice of a bird and went there. I saw how this cute bird, tumbling on the tips of branches, found something and ate. By the way, dexterous acrobatic movements are also one of the features of this species.
