🦉 The common rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus)
- Carpodacus Greek: karpos fruit, daknō to bite
- erythrinus erythros (Greek, lat.) red
This bird is the size of a sparrow and looks very similar in appearance, especially young birds and females. Adult males are distinguished by beautiful pink plumage, which only becomes richer and larger with age. For which in the old days (and maybe still they are called that in villages) they received the name “red sparrow”.
Lives in places with dense bushes. Namely, every year I see them near meadows, near the coastline where shrubs grow and there is forest, as well as near mixed forest on the edges.
It feeds mainly on plant foods, seeds, berries, fruits, nuts, but sometimes eats insects out of necessity.

In the first instance, I though it's a variant of sparrow.
By the way, really a beautiful bird and u have captured it nicely in your shots.
Очень красивые создания, особенно на первом фото. Название чечевик очень необычное.
