🦉 The great tit (Parus major)
📚 Parus (lat.) Tit
📚 major (lat.) large
In spring and autumn, you can constantly see and hear these yellow-bellied birds in the forests. The road to my favorite forest lies through the old cemetery, and this cemetery is also always full of different birds.
These birds are constantly jumping on the ground, loudly rustling dry fallen leaves, they are in search of some food, plant seeds.
Water from rains is collected in mud pits driven by cars, and local birds drink this water and bathe in it. In this photo, a tit has just bathed in such a puddle.
It's February, it's still winter, and it's still winter until April, but some of these birds are already starting to find mates. For 2 weeks now I have been hearing a spring mating song in my yard.
As a rule, these are experienced perennial males who already know that after a cold winter there will be a warm spring.
Awwww, what great tit pictures!!!

Старое кладбище. Наверное птицам там ни кто не мешает.
