🦉 The Siberian rubythroat (Calliope calliope)

📚 Calliope (ancient Greek mythology) Calliope - the eldest of the muses, the goddess of chants, the muse of epic poetry

Recently, I have noticed that the number of these nightingales is becoming smaller and smaller. For example, last year I did not meet these birds at all.
These wonderful birds live in deciduous or mixed forests, and sometimes in the steppes. The most important thing is the presence of bushes, where he spends all his time like other types of nightingales.

This nightingale is known, of course, for his red speck on the throat (of males), but most of all, of course, with songs.
The song is sonorous and long, consisting of whistles, trills and borrowed voices from other birds and just sounds ever heard.
