There are so many species and subspecies of gulls, and it is very difficult to distinguish them from each other. Moreover, in the photo is a young bird.

This photo is of an adult bird.
In some regions and cities, this is a completely ordinary bird that flies around the city and rummages in the garbage, but in my city they live only near the river.
They arrive, one might say early, while the snow is still lying, in early spring.
They feed mainly on fish that are caught in the river, insects. But this is only in my city. In general, these birds eat everything in general, rodents, carrion, garbage.
