🦉 The Eurasian bullfinch, common bullfinch or bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula)
📚 Pyrrhula (Greek): pyrrhos - red
I met these guys in late autumn in the forest. At first they were in the old cemetery, where they liked the seeds of maple. And then a little more in the forest, where they chose the rowan bushes.
Strange, but in the wild, these birds are quite shy and careful. But when they fly to the city courtyards in winter, they can be observed without problems in the parks, and they are not concerned about passing people.
