I love watching these guys! This bird has a very unusual color. Their turquoise-blue plumage depends on the refracted light, at one angle you see blue, at another turquoise.
This friend was fishing at his favorite spot. Year after year, many generations of kingfishers appear on this fast-flowing river and take fish.
Here, just in this photo, he saw his prey. He stretched out to carefully consider and calculate further actions.
But alas, he failed to get the fish this time. Therefore, he flew to the other side and looked out for prey from the other side.
