Welcome back to the fourth edition of, 'Let our picture tell your story'.
Thank you everyone for your stories and interaction in edition 3 of our challenge. It was an amusing week with stories ranging from gender reveal to sibling rivalry.
This brings the third edition to a close and the winners will be declared within 24 hours of publishing this post.
Before we get started with this week's challenge, I'd like you to know
This challenge is kept very simple so everyone can participate.
This isn't about grammar, this is about creativity, originality and fun in the comment section.
So let's have as much fun as possible and keep us entertained too.
Your story needs to be based on the image below.
Let the image ignite your imagination
The story maybe as long or short as you like, it is totally up to you.
Even a two or three sentence story would be considered if it is good enough.
Make it be as entertaining and as creative as possible.
Engage with the other participants. Let engagement being meaningful and around the contest comments.

It was a sad day when the old man stopped feeding us. I can still hear him banging on the bottom of his iron bowl with a spoon and making this bell like sound with the spoon on the stainless steel bowl.
The old man always cooked up some rice and added this to his bread crumbs and came out early every morning to greet the day and to feed me and my friends.
There was a palm tree in the garden and some days the branch would be so heavy with all the little colourful red and yellow birds waiting for their meal.
Of course the bigger fellers like myself would scoop down and enjoy our share of the meal.
Seeing the sign of the bird on the fence I discovered the new restaurant. Sure enough beyond the fence was not only a feeder hanging from the tree, but a beautiful bird bath.
How I like this new place but I often think of the old man beating his dish and calling us all to eat - with his homemade mixture of bread and freshly cooked rice.
I believe he has gone to a better place - but we will surely miss him.
This is based on a true story of my late father who never failed to feed the birds until his dying day and my heart was sad to think of those creatures coming to get their daily meal. Sometimes the leaf of that palm tree would be so heavy that I wondered how it didn't break with all the weight of the beautiful little birds. I'd like to invite @lizelle and @artywink to participate
What a wonderful story 💖 I'm so thankful that there are so many people who care about nature and wild animals who need help. Feeding little birds everyday is a great thing, how he had served the world.

My name is Poo
My name is Poo, I am a sparrow, I will tell you a story about my sister Pia. We as a family live in a comfortable nest on an old mango tree, many of the branches have rotted with age, when the wind comes, the old branches begin to sway strongly, my mother starts to worry, so my mother starts making a new nest on the teak tree . It was summer, we started moving to a new nest. At that time, my sister and I were only one month old, our feathers had not grown much, so we could not fly to look for food, so every morning and evening mother came to the nest to feed us, we would also wait for mother's arrival with great anticipation and it will be a joy to see mother come home to the nest.
One afternoon, the wind was blowing very hard, my sister Pia and I were very scared, mother had not come home, suddenly a strong wind blew our nest and landed on a fence. But it's not over yet, the wind is blowing again, our nest is swaying, my sister Pia screams, Poo...Poo, please..., I tried to reach for my little sister's wings, but my efforts were in vain, my sister and our nest flew in the wind, I tried to chase after him, but my tiny wing flaps couldn't hold back the roar of the strong wind, I could only mourn for my sister, I was very sad to be separated from my mother and sister.
Today I am one year old, my feathers are starting to grow and can take me flying anywhere, every morning and evening I always wait for my sister on the fence of this house, I don't know, until when will I wait for my sister, until one afternoon, I found a bird that just like me, I'm very happy. Pia....Pia, called me, but she was silent, oh it turned out to be just a bird statue, oh....Pia, when are you coming?

Iron birds heart
Iron bird sits an looks at the pretty fethered bird: "Oh what a beauty you are. Just like your mother and your grandmom. And all those who came bevore you sitting and looking around.
I'm sitting here for decades, but no one of you never recognized my soul and my iron heart, loving you no matter if you see me or not. Watching you flying around, having fun with your friends. That makes me happy. And I'll be sitting here another thousends of years. Waiting for that one of your daughters daughters who will also see me. The one who can feel my heart and soul beating. So fly little bird! Fly for me and enjoy life. I will follow you in my dreams and always love you unconditionally!"

Different
At a point I was the prey. They couldn't understand why I was different so they judge my being. From a distance I could tell they felt threatened by me but would not want to admit it so they teased me to cover that fact.
At that point I decided to create a version of my self that wasn't real but enough to put them off. That way they don't have the understand the real me.
Such awful bullies, I hope that they feel doubly threatened now, and run away. I hate bullies.

Jolly Esperanza and Her Friend.
"Hey there, life is full of happiness if only you will look around..and you know what?". Esperanza said to her friend.."as for myself, I have someone who is sincere, thoughtful, respectful in words/action and very much loving and caring too..most of all silent yet jolly type like me hehe! A gentleman, should I say. She added while looking at her sad friend Jonna!. "Please don't worry na, Jonna, just smile. God will lead you to your perfect match..so cheer up! One day this will come in your way, these things come in God's time. Enjoy life to the fullest, you can't force anything to happen if not destined to happen! So come on.. let's just enjoy the beauty of nature around us!
" You are right Esperanza! I wish I could be like you, who always manage to smile even you are facing challenges in life.. Wait!! do I know that guy you are telling? Jonna asked.
"Hehehe he is my Guardian.. Angel who never loses patience in me..hahaha! ..life is so precious, you know Jonna, I never in a hurry when it comes to matters of the heart hehe, I always lift it to God, Never enter into a relationship if you are not sure with your feelings, For what? Just to say you have a partner? Hehe. You know I don't have that kind of mentality. I am not a picky one but I am very much observant and there is no perfect relationship but one thing I look for in a man is loyalty, thoughtfulness, and respectful, without those characters well..hehe sorry it's 👎👎!" Esperanza said.
Jonna thinks of everything that her jolly friend Esperanza has told her..because she is the opposite of her character. Esperanza has a strong personality and stands firm to her principle..not easily intimidated by things around her. So Jonna decided to do some personal development, like her jolly friend Esperanza who is also a nature lover, unlike her that never appreciate the good things around her, all she did was complain about everything. She decided to be like her friend Esperanza from now on!
"Esperanza wait, I will come with you!" Jonna shouted.

That photograph inspires me for the following, when sometimes we feel inferior or how we are perceived, but if we struggle to achieve our dreams, nothing and no one will be able to interfere. In some cases we give the wrong image when really the most important thing is within us and not in how we are observed.

Basil had been looking for a mate for a long time - no one should be alone in this world, neither people nor birds. All his friends were already building own nests with their wives, and only he was still looking for his ideal one...
She had to be special, not like others. Of course, her beauty had to be on the first place - who could doubt, but there was one more point, very important for Basil - she had to be calm and silent. He appreciated the calmness and silence so much! Unfortunately, it turned out that there were a lot of beauties in his flock, but they all were too loud, too noisy and chirped incessantly from morning to evening. It was just unbearable!
Basil flew around the whole area to no avail and was already completely resigned to the fate of a loner, when suddenly he saw HER! She was sitting modestly on the fence without making a sound! Hurray, here, here SHE is, and none of the competitors around! Now all that remains was just to charm her, which would not be difficult for such a handsome and clever man as Basil.
He did all the efforts and techniques of the seducer, but what would have easily conquered any of his pack did not affect the mysterious stranger in any way. No matter how hard he tried, she remained cold and did not respond to his advances.
Well, after wasting lot of time Basil said, - “With such a cold iron heart, you will certainly stay alone forever. But I will fly away to seek my happiness among ordinary friends with their shortcomings. In the end - which of us is without flaws ?! Goodbye. I wish you happiness." With these words, Basil turned away from the touch-me-not, flapped his wings and flew towards his flock.
