Desde hace ya unas semanas vengo comentándole a mi novia que estoy buscando como armar una buena computadora gamer, explicándole cada uno de sus componentes así ella no entienda mucho de lo que le hablo, escucha atentamente cada una de mis explicaciones y se interesa en el tema, de verdad que es muy gratificante ser escuchado por una persona tan especial como ella, hoy estoy cumpliendo 26 años de vida y mi primer regalo llega en horas de la mañana en una pequeña caja que contiene nada más y nada menos que una tarjeta grafica nvidia GeForce GTX 660 de 2GB de vídeo dedicado por lo que quiero compartir también con todos ustedes el primer componente para armar una PC gamer.

Una de las características más importantes de esta tarjeta grafica es su núcleo un GK106 que está basado en kepler, dicha tarjeta es capaz de correr juegos actuales si se cuenta con un procesador con el cual no haga "cuello de botella" y dicha tarjeta sea capaz de dar su 100% sin problemas, para esto uso una herramienta que está disponible en internet y es totalmente gratuita conocida como Bottleneck Calculator la cual es fácil de usar y además podemos combinar todos los procesadores y todas las gráficas disponibles en el mercado.

Este modelo viene con 2 ventiladores integrados cada uno de 100mm lo que hace de esta tarjeta una grafica bastante grande y como bien se sabe, entre mas grande sean los ventiladores, mayor sera el sonido que hara, aunque en esta ocasion esto puede llegar a cambiar gracias a un sistema que fue implementado un año antes conocido como Triangle Cool, el cual se basa en un sistema de bloques de aluminio hiperpuestos en forma de triangulo que ademas de disminuir la turbulencia generada por el aire generado por los ventiladores y por consiguiente disminuye el ruido generado, posee la capacidad de disipar el calor por todas las laminas de aluminio y tubos de cobre lo que se traduce a un mejor rendimiento y que esta no se sobrecaliente.

Tengo en la vista un procesador Intel i7 de tercera generación y al hacer la prueba me arroja un 0% de Bottleneck por lo que es perfecta para esta tarjeta grafica.
Luego de también ver un montón de videos en Youtube de ambos componentes trabajando en conjunto y corriendo juegos realmente divertidos que tendre que probar, ademas, me habilita la posibilidad de realizar gameplays con un programa muy conocido como lo es el OBS Studio.
I have a third generation Intel i7 processor in my sight and when I tested it I got 0% Bottleneck, so it is perfect for this graphic card.
After also watching a lot of videos on Youtube of both components working together and running really fun games that I will have to try, also, it enables me the possibility of making gameplays with a very well known program such as OBS Studio.

La Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 necesita ser alimentada por un cable de energia que vaya desde la fuente de poder hasta un lado de la tarjeta, se necesita un cable conversor de 4 pines a 6 pines el cual se puede apreciar que ya se encuentra encajado, es importante recalcar que cuenta con una tecnologia PCi-Express 3.0 por lo que seria buena idea instalarla en una tarjeta madre que posea dicho slot. Con respecto a las salidas de vídeo, esta grafica cuenta con un HDMI, dos DVI y un DisplayPort.
