How strange is it that both you and Acid have GPU issues at the very same time? Guess the environment is at least partly to blame, certainly heat and humidity don't play nicely with electronics. The 4070 Ti is a really nice GPU (we have one 😁) and I'd go for the same brand as your mobo. Good luck getting your pc up and running again!

I am suspecting mine was already faulty on purchase, just wasn’t faulty enough for me to be alarmed haha. Acid’s GPU is quite weird as well, we have yet to test and confirm which ones have problems but it could be the monitor or the monitor cable which is easier to test so we’re gonna do that first. His room is pretty cold and less humid than mine but yeah hopefully it’s not GPU problem for him. Thank you! Thankfully the local shop has the GPU i like and the store where I bought the old GPU from took it in and said they will test it. There’s also still a chance that they will cover or replace it despite the warranty being out so hopefully they repair it then I could just sell it haha
