Cuando me casé acepté a la familia de mi esposo como mía, siempre he contado con el aprecio y el apoyo de mis cuñadas, ellas han estado allí en los momentos difíciles y han celebrado conmigo los buenos momentos, tengo mucho que agradecerles, en especial a la hermana mayor de mi esposo llamada Lay quien cuando enfermé de cáncer consiguió para mí los mejores médicos y estuvo a mi lado siempre sosteniendo mi mano, eso no tiene precio. Lay ahora está atravesando una situación de salud que la tiene muy preocupada y ansiosa, ella ha perdido la visión en un ojo y necesita de cuidados y ayuda de la familia, a su avanzada edad y con problemas de visión ya no puede manejar para ir a las consultas médicas.
Mi esposo y yo estamos apoyando a Lay llevándola a sus consultas con el oftalmólogo para hacerse algunos exámenes, se tiene que operar pronto. La familia no es sólo ir a reuniones para celebrar acontecimientos importantes, también hay que estar allí cuándo se nos necesite, dando una mano y ayudando en lo que esté a nuestro alcance.
