Even though this is an affluent neighborhood, even though an apartment here starts at 8 million pounds up to 16 million pounds.
Even though this opposing building is "The National Bank Of Egypt" still people throw their garbage here in the street, and the trash is everywhere!
I'm posting this to ask, what could be a good solution? How can we prevent this in the future? I truly have no idea, but I feel upset every time I pass here, and again, I wish I could do something.
Wanted to share this with you guys, and I hope someone could suggest something reasonable that can be done!
I pass here every single day and I think what can I do? The view is awful and the smell is bad, and I know for sure if I did my best to remove all trash (which most of it doesn't show up in the pictures) it will be the same next day, because with the first bag of trash that is thrown every other person throws theirs, and it becomes a trash dump so quickly.
How can we change people's behavior? How can we convince people not to throw their trash in the streets? It's mostly sellers and shop owners. The trash car comes every day to take the trash but at the end of the day, that's the view! Not a very pleasant one.
