Eid-ul-Adha is one of the two major festivals of Muslims. Eid-ul-Adha means abandonment.

On this day, after performing the Eid prayers , Muslims exchange hugs and greetings with each other.

Then the Muslims sacrifice herbivorous animals to gain the pleasure of Allah. And the animal slaughtered meat they divide into three equal parts.

1. One part is for the poor and helpless
2. One part for relatives and neighbors
3. And one part to eat themselves

Through this it is understood that Eid-ul-Azha teaches us brotherhood. Through which the hunger of the poor can be quenched and good relations are created between the neighbors and relatives.

Thanks for reading...

Sort:
  1. One part is for the poor and helpless

  2. One part for relatives and neighbors

  3. And one part to eat themselves

That is something that humans should be doing all year round.

Do you know if they provide food to people of a different faith?

Thanks for the first line.
For the second line i would say If we have a good relationship between different faith people , if they are well known by us or they are our neighbors or if the are poorer and If they do not show reluctance to accept meat so we can provide to them. Islam means peace and Islam teaches us sense of brotherhood.
