This Economic Cycle Has Never Been Seen In the History of the Universe!

NoStocks.png

Many people are looking to the past to judge what should be done with our wealth.

Some people are looking at 2008, planning to buy houses when they bottom out in price.

Some people are looking at the Kondratieff Cycle 50-60 years, and are trying to move to PMs
KondratieffSeasons.png

Some people are saying this is the new, Greatest Depression, and are trying to plan out how to capitalize on the stock market collapse, and when to buy back in.

Some people are looking at the fall of empires. And noticing a lot of parallels between The US and Rome.

Unfortunately, what is happening now has never happened before.
Never in the history of the universe.

But that is really difficult to explain, so i will just try to explain what is happening now in a way that is useful in understanding what is going down.

What is going down?

Evil is going down.
All the BIGs that are controlled by evil are going down.

BigGovern-Cement, BigPharm, BigAg, BigBanks

Basically, as someone recently wrote, Microsloth is going down, and Linux is taking over.

This is the kind of thing that is happening across the board.

Central banks are dying, while bitcoin takes off.

The main pillar under the old world order has just been knocked out, and soon, all that stuff held aloft by money printing, graft and corruption are just going to vaporize. Nothing left.

Like that house at the end of Poltergeist.

The stock market, gone. All the stocks that are not removed from the exchanges and put into your own name, registered with the corporation, will be gone. You may get something years later, but don't count on it. The new stock market will be on the block chain, probably with VERI.

Bonds The bond market will be gone. The banks that would give you dollars, the brokers that would buy/sell them, the govern-cements that owe on them... all gone. No piece of that puzzle will continue to exist. I do not see a path where those things aren't completely defaulted on from both ends.

Rental Property Blackrock is trying to buy up all the property (so you will own nutsing) but this fails because way too many people die off. From the babyboomer generation, to all the VAXXXed, to the coming natural disasters. Your suburban house will cease to have value. What market can their be when their are two houses for any one person who would want them. Along with no banks for mortgages.

Derivatives Every one of us already knows that these things are vaporware. They are fraudulently kept on the books as an asset. What is worse is that the brokerage house still push these on people. Yeah, buy that Blackrock REIT... which you can't get out of anymore.

Cash Cash will be king for a short while. That is actual pieces of paper in your hand, not in the bank. The banks are insolvent, and they will soon have no cash to give out, even if they wanted to. So, get your hands on some paper. You will really need it until a new money is decided upon

Gold and Commodities If you don't hold it, you don't own it. The Comex spot price is going away. The values will be from "sorry, we don't have anything valuable enough to trade for that" to "well, that is a pretty piece of metal, but i have to eat".

- - - - - - -

But really, everything is going to change, and then change again.
So, keep up with the new stuff.

Bitcoin won't be king for long... i mean, bitcoin will probably become the world's reserve currency. But when it does, a bitcoin will be so valuable, and so expensive to move, that it can be at times, worthless. Bitcoin lightning networks will probably soon be where its at... think of them as local currencies. Like, the Dollar may be a specific Bitcoin lightning network... and then things will change even more.

Suburban McMansions are out, Homesteads are in. Suburban homes will just be left to rot. Enterprising kids will gut them of all items of any worth. Windows, doors, copper pipe, wire... (and so, there goes your housing investment)

Food will be exchange much more between grower and eater. The intermediaries will be gone, like what Amazonium did to boxed goods. And further, it will be important to know what is in the food your getting. Trust of a corporation to send you non-bug-laced bread will be close to nil.

Borders between countries will cease to exist as we know them. But, more like define the boundaries of ethnic groups. These lines will probably not touch, or could criss cross. For the first time in hundreds of years, there will be unclaimed land.

Nothing will be like it was before.
Not the map, not the geography.

Stay loose and be able to move. (in all things)

Yep I am thinking along the same lines, not all the same, but a quite a few.

Living on a remote island gives some different perspectives - geography for example is pretty solid here because we can literally see it, and the border is very real.

Sometimes I used to stand on mountain tops looking out at the views before doing downhill runs - this one is Mt Fyffe on the east coast of the south island - and having seen those views is why I mock flat earthers :)

Flat earthers need love too.....
What if we are on the inside of a toroid?

Opposed to your view on border on the island... instead of, or something like that
You can walk across New England (north eastern corner of America) and not see a house for three days. Just empty space filled with God and trees.

Why is that inside some country's borders?

I can appreciate your concerns, and myself see trends supporting your predictions. Something that will be critical to success in plotting a course through the coming tribulations is timing. These bank and governmental collapses aren't going to happen by Monday. These are processes, not destinations. They are also mutually concatenating, in that as nails are missing from the horseshoe the horse becomes less able to be ridden and this decreases our ability to get to hardware stores to buy nails.

In ~5B years the Earth will be swallowed by the Sun. This isn't what we're talking about.

So, how we manage our resources will dramatically impact our quality of life as these processes proceed and evolve. Instead of making dramatic prophecies that make it look like you've suffered a psychotic break (not saying you look like you've suffered a psychotic break, but it's a well understood metric) it would be beneficial to your readers to have that methodological means of changing how we manage our resources in order to maximize our quality of life as circumstances evolve.

Certain specific technologies will enable far higher quality of life to be attained, such as producing flammable gas from pyrolytic combustion of organic materials. Means of retaining such production as conditions and sites change due to evolving circumstances, such as mounting pyrolytic devices on trailers, for example, might be life saving.

Detailing the specifics of the order and rate of economic contraction, will also greatly enable people to plan and act in a timely way to avoid wasting effort or the resources that are spent on such endeavors. In these ways, your post falls short of being helpful to folks, and more resembles FUD. I know you're capable of better structuring your post. I am strongly encouraging you to do the work necessary to provide more useful content.

Thanks!

Today was a hard day, however, i understand your points. (barely got this post written)

I just do not know how to discuss helpful strategies because it becomes a mesh of possibilities really quickly.

I do not know when flying cars hit the scene.
And shouldn't bitcoin have squashed the central banks by now?
What the bleep happens if doge coin is the future?

And i totally had Tuesday pencilled in for rebuilding projects.

"...when flying cars hit the scene."

They're here now. If I could send video I would send you a video of a quad surfcopter cruising through traffic. It's not a car as much as a surfboard that flies, but clearly only needs a carriage and doors to be a flying car.

"...shouldn't bitcoin have squashed the central banks by now?"

BTC only exists by permission of the central banks' owners. They own the series of pipes through which all information flows. @edicted described his cold wallet as a key that enables the BTC to be accessed. The pipes are the keyhole. They control access to BTC just as much as the wallet and the exchange. All cryptos are exactly the same in this regard. Monero and Doge aren't permissionless at all. They are utterly dependent on the keyhole through which they can be unlocked, and that keyhole is the internet.

"...i totally had Tuesday pencilled in for rebuilding projects."

Better early than late IMHO. It's a lot easier to dogpaddle over a tsunami once you're wet than it is to jump in while the wave's breaking ashore.

I am struggling of late. It's very difficult for me to pierce through the obstructions between my understanding and the post button because pain is the mindkiller, not fear. Fear is my buddy. I am really grateful to fear because it keeps me on my toes, keeps me alert, creates crystal clear views of danger threatening. But pain hides everything, smothers it with screeching brilliantly lambent torment that greedily sucks all thought into a vortex of monotonous agony that lets no darkness through. Without shadows, bright insight becomes void of detail no less than stygian abyss.

All my resolve has become without purpose, because the signals of import are subsumed by the writhing fists of eels in my gut. If this keeps up I'll be head-banging a shopping cart while I argue with myself over my preferred pronouns in a week.

Just use the plod method. Put one foot down and clearly describe that footstep. Then plop the next step down, rinse, and repeat. That creates a path that can be followed simply, and that's what we need in vortices of hazards coming from all directions. Simple paths we can simply follow. Since we need to produce the blessings of civilization that are being used to bait all the traps we are set, the basal means of production underlying manufacturing in a decentralized economy is a good place to start: 3D printing. With filament, paste, and inkjet printheads, there's almost no piece of hardware that cannot be manufactured today. The launch of Terran 1 was the best point at which to demarcate the Exocene from the history of the world. The first 3D printed spaceship left Earth. That is the real beginning of human history. Now we begin to ourselves seize the illimitable resources we will create inconceivable wealth in absolute freedom with in perpetuity.

The care and feeding of a 3D printer that can do all three is fundamentally the threshold between dependence on overlords and absolute freedom to sustain civil society at will.
