Yep I am thinking along the same lines, not all the same, but a quite a few.
Living on a remote island gives some different perspectives - geography for example is pretty solid here because we can literally see it, and the border is very real.
Sometimes I used to stand on mountain tops looking out at the views before doing downhill runs - this one is Mt Fyffe on the east coast of the south island - and having seen those views is why I mock flat earthers :)
Flat earthers need love too.....
What if we are on the inside of a toroid?
Opposed to your view on border on the island... instead of, or something like that
You can walk across New England (north eastern corner of America) and not see a house for three days. Just empty space filled with God and trees.
Why is that inside some country's borders?
