Division, hatred, segregation. Families torn apart and friendships destroyed over differences of opinion about a virus. Health passports leading to a tiered society. Murmurs of detention centers for the hesitant.
No one in their right mind wants any of this.
I have an idea that could turn things around. We need a powerful statement that can echo throughout the world. Not a protest--no signs, no chants, no lists of demands. Just a voluntary collective action, emphasizing mutual respect, individual liberty, and unity—even if we disagree about everything else, we are united in this one truth: that we will not be made to hate and fear each other.

I'm currently watching my way through this video over on YouTube:
Somebody from Flote linked me to it a couple days ago. It's long, but so far I agree with her!
For the last three years I have liver issues, it is idiopathic, they have no clue what is wrong, for the last year the condition became permanent. I suffer pain and exhaustion on daily level, still have to do all my tasks and take care for my kid who has an auto immune diabetes. My doctor was against vaccination from the start, I agree with that and I will certainly NOT put my health at risk so that somebody feels more secure with the unchecked vaccine that doesn't even work. Fully vaccinated people get sick, it doesn't do anything. Lines in front of my local hospital disappeared at the first news of it. My life, like anyone's, is more important to me than their fears. Everybody puts personal existence and own family benefit in front of anything and anyone else. I don't see a reason why would I do differently and why would anyone in the same situation like me just choose to die. Nobody will die for me.
I think your daughter should find like-minded people just like her and her family. We all should find those like-minded people and keep in touch with them. Even if we don't win all this, at least we fight for our freedom of choice. They are for sure behaving like a cult. It's for sure depressing, but unless we have people who think like that and who are ready to fight, we shouldn't be that scary. That's the goal. It's to create afraid of people, hating each other.
Maybe those who are supporting all this, are those who are afraid to believe there is a conspiracy. The truth is scary, and they prefer to avoid it, instead of fighting for their rights. They can't even give arguments besides those that are given by TV and mass media. They don't do their own researches. That's the worse thing to see. The more of such people we will have, the harder it will be for others to fight.
The solution you talked about is for sure a great solution. Let's show our union. No matter what are our races, what we believe in, what politics we trust, what language we speak, no matter how old we are, no matter the orientation we support, and no matter our differences. We can always show our union in many forms. Not only in real life, we may do that in many social media, always create tags we all support, discuss situations of real people with this pandemic in all the world. Avoid making the news from TV and mess media even more famous. Let's always talk about simple people and the situations they are in because of all this. Even those vaccinated people aren't feeling well after taking the shot. Some who took the first one are afraid of the second. Those who are done, they don't want to feel the same with revaccination. So, let those who want to be vaccinated, do that and we will see how they talk after doing it. Let's support all those who are fighting for their rights and choice to do with their body the thing they want. That will create a big movement that the dark side don't want. We are all on the web, and we can do it ! Let's show our union !
I wish I could hit the like button more than once! This is exactly how I feel 100% on this whole Covid thing!
My wife and I are starting to get into arguments over some really stupid stuff about it. She made the comment that she agreed that people who refused the vaccine should be refused treatment if they get sick. I pointed how great of a humanitarian thing it is for someone who believes that healthcare is a human right would willingly deny another human that right and let them die because they disagreed with her politically.
This whole situation is getting extremely stupid and I can only deal with so much stupidity before I will snap. Lol.
