What's buzzing, friends?
What are the small things in life that make a difference in our perception? We may not always realize it, but the small things can have a big impact on how we see the world around us. From the color of a flower to the sound of a child's laughter, small things can make us see the world in a whole new light. Take the time to notice the small things in life and you may be surprised at how they can change your perception of the world around you.
Today, the small thing that we will be talking about is hotel toilet paper folding, or as it is referred to, "toilegami".
Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Toilegami is the art of toilet paper folding. If you've ever been to a fancy hotel, you know that they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. One of the little touches that you may not have noticed is the origami that is often found in the restrooms. This is known as toilegami, and it's a subtle way to add a touch of class to the room.
They do this small subtle action, so that at least on a subconscious level, you feel like attention and love has been taken to ensure they are picked up, clean and ready for you. This, along with a bed made well, helps the guest feel more at ease.
Honestly, we did not know what toilegami was until we wrote this article, but OMG, it’s so cool. It seems that Japan has some of the best toilegami you will find. So next time you check into a hotel, ask the attendant about their toilegami skills, or add that bit of class to your own home bathroom.
One thing that needs no toilegami is this week's post from D.Buzz. It’s attention to details is crafted to make you feel at ease from the start!
