The fool's concern
A cyclical concern occupied his mind every time he woke up in the morning, what would his family eat, he remembered his recent past, the focus of the concerns was on the choice of clothing that would lead to Thursday dinner, not arriving late to the gym or soccer game, maintain the diet and thus lose the extra kilos that spoiled your silhouette. The agenda of a job that suffocated him and at the same time separated him from his family.
Now, he looked in the mirror, detailed the bones of the clavicle, could count the ribs under the skin and his dewlap had disappeared leaving a flaccid skin. Overnight, everything had changed, he lived daily, facing the shortage.
However, at the same time he was amazed, because he enjoyed today the closeness of his family, which for many years the strenuous hours of work in search of work success had robbed him. Worried but serene, very thin but free of headaches and excessive stress.
At dusk, he thanked God, and how not to do it ?, he had not lacked the plate of food for his family, always unexpectedly came the resources for food: a constant miracle showed that life is simple, only we complicate it.
Each night at bedtime he recriminated himself, what a fool he had been to worry, the teacher well said:
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Before closing my eyes, curled up in bed he thought: I am a fool, yes, every day less foolish before the evidence and happier. If I had known before, many stones in my path would have avoided. Tomorrow will be another day to worry about.

Hello @theluvbug,
Thanks so much.
There’s some good ideas in the Bible 😮💎🧐

Hello @awake1inadream,
That's right. Not only are they good ideas, it is an instruction manual for good living.
I think that one day, waking up and finding there is no food and no way to get it, is something most people consider happening at some point and how they'd handle it. Here, trust in God is shown to make sure the food is there, somehow. Very nice!
Hello @free-reign,
You are correct, unfortunately they are not only considerations of what could happen to us, there are many people who live it daily. The difference is that many think they survive by their own efforts and others thank God for it. Sometimes, who has more, is also the one who is most in need, for example, the one who gets sick from obesity from a disproportionate diet. Ideally, take the right thing and thank every day for being alive.

Great story and a good example that God will provide.
Hello @waternake101,
Thanks for your nice comment. Yep, God will always provide.
This is a powerful story to reflect on and invites us to thank for everything we have. Thanks for sharing :)
Hello @eugely,
Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day.
Nice story! Not far from the truth though, as it seems we are heading to that point where resources, food included, will be scarce.
Hello @lymepoet,
That's right. All fiction has a real background. And I assure you that God always provides and listens to the needy. And who doesn't need it? I need it daily.
I believe we have to trust in God that things will be okay. And thank goodness it is only a story.
For today.
Have a great day!

Hello @dswigle,
Yep, you definitely have to trust God at all times. You have to know and love him.
For many today is a fiction, but tomorrow? Who knows.
Others live it daily. The difference is, who do they trust?
Thanks for stopping by.
Others do live it daily, but, notice that for many like that, they have leaned into God. That is my experience.
That is true. The ways of God are so inscrutable. I have heard that from prisoners, the sick and even beggars, who after the tribulations claim that they found comfort, hope and faith. Their lives were transformed into the state of need.

"The Beatitudes"
Do not worry about what you will eat, drink or wear, look at the birds of the air, the lilies and the grass of the fields, your heavenly father feeds the birds and clothes the lilies and the grass, they don't toil.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you!
A great story here in your post my friend.
Blessings!
Hello @papilloncharity,
That's right my friend, also known as the sermon on the mount. The teacher, based on the instructions of exodus chapter 20 received from the own God of Abraham, Issac and Israel on Mount Sinai, explained how to live the generation of those times, even today, they are in force.
Thanks for stopping by.
You are so right my friend.
My pleasure to stop by.
Blessings!
In "The Beatitudes" the answer can be found to this guys problems my friend.
A great story here and God is the only way!
Blessings!
Blessings for you and family!
Thank you Sir and of course the blessing are reciprocated!
I think that we can relate to that. Not easy not to we worry about most things these days, but it is a fact that unless we can do something about it makes no sense to get as sick over things we can't control
Hello @hlezama,
You're right. The problem lies in believing that everything can be controlled and we forget that there are many things that determine us beyond our will and power. Who to trust?
Beautiful story and beautiful moral: to live the present without giving more importance to the material than to the interior. I really liked the message you left and how the person changes his lifestyle and thinking according to the circumstances of his life. Fabulous story, I loved it from every point of view. I hug you with love, friend @janaveda.
Hello @marybellrg,
I glad your nice comment. I think that the object of a story must transcend the act of entertaining, it must also teach or disseminate guidelines for good living. And now more than ever, when times are hard.
Thank you very much.
