I have been by the lovely @trangbaby she has put me in the spotlight and how could i refuse well here we go , i have never been one to talk about my adventures or hobbies i "Just do it" as the Nike label says i can say i have many hobbies but i regard them as been part of my everyday ritual routines that you don't even realize your doing but one thing i can say i am not a indoor hobby man get me away from computers games and computers i am far from any high tech person just the basics are fine for me get me on the outdoors and i turn into a adventurous machine jogging , hiking , walking , swimming and the list will go on with outdoor activities but apart from all that there is a hobby that i really like doing which is combined with outdoor and indoor and that would be growing and taking care of my herbs and veggies , i just love seeing my own cultivated herbs and veggies growing with a couple of rose flower bushes amongst them just to give the garden a bit more aroma here we have Rosemary , Italian Basil , Mint and Tomatoes and i do have many more herbs and veggies in my garden these are just a few.
And this is the best part of growing my own herbs and veggies it gives me the one indoor hobby that i love doing apart from all my outdoor hobbies this indoor indoor hobby has become a every Sunday ritual , i kick my wife out of the kitchen tell her to go to her painting room and do not disturb me and i get on making Sunday dinner which could be Pizzas , Lasagna or different Pasties with all my fresh veggies and herbs that i nurse daily in my veggie garden that's the advantage of having Italian background my mum taught me well i love my mum dearly ♥️ If anyone needs a yummy Pizza , Lasagna or Pasta made with all my fresh veggies and herbs my wife will hire me out for a small fee but only to cook for you...lol 🤣

Your herbs look sooooo good! Now why do I suddenly want to make PESTO??!! LOL. There is truly nothing better than growing herbs and then adding them fresh to your home-made goodies.

Thank you @artemislives the fresh herbs from my garden always seem to inspire me to cook and pesto sounds good my mum makes a lot of that i always borrow it from mum as it taste better the way she makes it definitely has that Italian taste and smell 👍
It's good to be able to combine one hobby with the other, growing herbs and cooking with them. They then combine with a hobby I find particularly enjoyable...Eating!
That last picture...You mate looks like the pastry is about to jump up and bite him! Lol. What are you making there, ravioli?
Yep i found that very efficient and worked well together like you i love eating especially when you have made it yourself from your own garden....
Haha , a couple times the pastry has split and hit him in the face so he has learnt his lesson and stands back now he doesn't want to become part of the ravioli and you guessed it right ravioli with minced beef and veggies one of my favorites to make.
I love me some rav's man...Home made ones especially!
I have a mate who holds to the old ways and we go over and help do stuff, olives, the pig (sausages), sauce etc...The reward is big cook ups and some raucous gatherings. Italian is my favourite food!
There is a lot of work in preparing the pasta and noddles as you would know but there is nothing more satisfying to see the smiles and expressions on your friends faces as there biting into those pizzas it's just priceless that's what makes me enjoy my hobby more ☺️
I think there's something very enjoyable about preparing food with friends. Every now and then we have a few friends over and we all prepare the food together...We all sort of feel more invested in the meal I think. So much fun.
That is so true us Aussie's know how to enjoy out foods around friends with a few beers and this is some thing we also do a lot sharing ideas makes it all more enjoyable. This was a great topic i enjoyed sharing this with you all have a great week ahead @galenkp 👍
Thank you @kohsamui99, I highly appreciated it..I know exactly why I’d invite you join me. We have many common interests: jogging , hiking , walking , swimming, etc ...hahaaa!!! I am not actually good with computers and technology. I used to work in the office for a couple of years but I just spent maximum 30 mins sitting in front of computer 😁😅. Since I joined Hive , I have found myself more patient to work with a computer few hours, much better 😊😂 Because I’m learning more about writing, and in English it takes me a bit long to finish my post every time 😃. Wow, I know you love veggies & fruit so not so surprised where there many Rosemary , Italian Basil , Mint and Tomatoes and herbs in your garden, I like them all. And I understand how good when your effort paid off by using all your plants for making dinner 🥘....Can’t wait to see your yummy Pizza , Lasagna or Pasta recipes 🤪🤩You are damn good at everything huh, taking photos, cooking, drawing, veggies & fruit ...;)
Awwww... thank you for you kind words you are giving me a head swell now i do try my best at getting it done better 🤓it seems we do have a lot of things in common i like to try different things if you don't succeed first time we try again , you are pretty good at what you do also and with English been your second language you are producing very nice work it can be very challenging but i see you are not one to give up so easily even if it takes you a little longer the outcome of the results will make you stronger.

Na i will just stick with my daily job i just love making pizzas for pizza party nights to share with friends when you visit Oz we will invite you over for pizza night i will make you a Hawaiian Pizza at any size you like 👍

Not much gardening for me, the weather just isn't kind to gardens here. I've actually considered one of those indoor herb systems so I'd have fresh basil and cilantro as needed.
That's some fine looking pizza and pasta. Your noodle cutter looks a lot like the one my grandmother had. Woman could make some noodles to die for...
Ahhh...that's a shame maybe you should consider one of them indoor herb systems there is nothing better then fresh herbs from your own garden.
Yep my Italian mum taught me well in growing veggies and herbs and making pizzas and pastas i am glad to have got this knowledge from her , she is the best ☺️
My mom taught all 3 of us boys (and our sisters) how to cook. It's a skill that I have used my whole life and I'm really thankful for it. All three of us took to it and became good cooks in our own right. My kid brother and I have some sort of unofficial cooking competition every summer featuring what we've picked up during the year. His wife ALWAYS likes it :) And for the record, my sisters are no better than adequate in the kitchen...
We got to love our mom's for passing on that talent to us and that we had the patients to sit by and take it all in certainly makes us proud to dish up a great meal for our friends night and ourselves it just makes it interesting and worthwhile all round 👍

Growing your own herbs and veggies is great. Is your garden large in a greenhouse? And then cooks also with the herbs and veggies you grow. This has to be a passion. Thanks for sharing.
Hi @justclickindiva no i don't grow my herbs and veggie in a greenhouse just out in my backyard under a big old tree it is a passion of my as we use a lot of herbs with our cooking and making pizzas it always handy to have your own fresh herbs at your doorstep ☺️
