Hello mates, it been a long day and I've been getting my ass kicked pretty bad on the new season of the new Hive football manager game - Rabona. Hopefully, I will bring out a post from that later on. Since this is about my favorite songs, of which as we do deeper, it gets more exciting and of course, more interesting. And today's topic isn't at all a bored one. So, without wasting any further time, let us go into the business of the day.
I am a lover of soul music as well as blues. Basically, I listen to foreign music a lot and it is quite very challenging to level the plane of my favorite song due to the fact I have them so many. But my Playlist saved the day and to be honest, the Playlist is just 99.9% correct. Here are is list starting from the number 5.
Favourite Song 5 - HELLO by Oladips
After winning D’banj’s #KingIsHere Rap Competition, and dropping one of the dopest HIP HOP VERSE Of 2015 In the song #SouthAfricaMustGo, Ola Dips, who is a Nigerian rapper hits us with this slick masterpiece titled “HELLO” a cover of Adele’s Hello… This is officially the first “Rap Version” and Ola Dips killed it! This song has been on my Playlist ever since 2015 and while many get bored after listening to a song over and over again, this one isn't like that to me. I even listened to it this morning and it do listen to it every time. Just like this post, it is at number 5 on my Playlist. To me, that a lot of justice done to my music library.
PS: The song was sang in yoruba language - one of the major languages found in Nigeria.

Favourite Song 4 - CONSPIRACY by Akon
This surely top the list as number 4 on my Playlist. It is a very old song just like the above one but it still is one of my favorite. I don't really know much about the song - the main purpose of the song. But from the lyrics and the few stories I read online, it was a song Akon had produced after being branded as a convict. In the music, he talked about how he was set up, how he had taken the fall for someone without realizing until it became too late. Also, it gave insight of how he pulled the trigger on a police officer - which was tammed as self defense. Below is the audio. You can listen and download.
Favourite Song 3 - HEAVEN CAN WAIT by Michael Jackson
Yea! This song is dope! Like the lyrics is clearly out of this world. It is a love song by the king of pop himself Late Micheal Jackson. The music talks about how he would not want to leave his baby (his lover) when he die. He doesn't want to go to heaven just yet leaving his baby to the arms of another. Clearly, it was a chance he was willing to take. Again, this is clearly number 3 on my Playlist. Listen and download below.
Favourite Song 2 - MIRROR ON THE WALL by Lil Wayne
Ahhh. Yes! I have heard of Lil Wayne being a good rapper but I had always disliked him because of the way he is too covered in tattoo all over his body. But the day I came across this song, which happens to be years after it was released, listened to it, I fell in love 😍. I love it when the lyrics of a song is clearly passing a message with entertainment coming as second priority. And this was another music with powerful lyrics and message. Number two on my Playlist for sure.
By now you must be wondering why my favorite songs are all old songs. Well, I listen to new songs a lot as well. But I still haven't seen that lyrical juice I always love in a new song that would outperform the old ones yet. Still searching. Listen and download!
Favourite Song 1 - SMOOTH CRIMINAL by Micheal Jackson
Yea, you guess just right. Micheal is my best all time singer. Personally I learnt a lot of singing and dancing from him. I Love and emulate Chris Brown as well but not as much as the king here. Smooth criminal was a hit for those of you that knew of the legend. And to be honest, this song hasn't been boring or stop delivering to my ear that pleasant vibe that gets me break-dancing each time I hear it. I mostly love the ending part of the song. Nice to see you've got love for Lil Wayne. The dude is really good in that field. And for oladips, that how stars do rise and nah always turn by turn. The present and becoming famous zinoleekey is also a friend of mine. We attended the same high school and in the same class and stuffs like that.
