The Importance of Health Nutrition in Human Well-being

Health is one of the most important aspects of human life. It shows the well-being or the state which a person is either good or bad. Health can be discussed in different aspects but one of the most important aspects of it is health nutrition.

Health nutrition refers to the study or practice of a well balanced diet or meal that support the overall health of human. It is what the body needs for propel functioning of body system and to help fight against disease and promote good well being.

There are concepts or breakdowns of health nutrients,

  1. Essential nutrients
  2. ⁠balance diet
  3. ⁠hydration e.t.c

Essential nutrients:

These are the nutrients that are needed mostly in the human body that comprises of macro nutrients and micro nutrient.

Macronutrients:

These are nutrients that provide energy for the body which are carbohydrates, proteins, and fat they help and support the body's function.

Carbohydrates: are food that comprises grains(rice), fruits, and vegetables. It’s the body's primary source of energy.

Protein: Proteins are mostly nutrients that repair tissues in the body system, they also give essential growth to the body. Protein are mostly meat, egg, beans e.t.c

Fat: most people ran away from fat but it has limit that it should be taken to the body. Too much of it is not good but it helps in nutrition absorption which is in oil, butter, and fatty fish.

Micronutrients: these are nutrients that deal with the vitamins and minerals

Vitamin: they are the organic compounds that support the immune function and energy metabolism which are ( vitamin C and vitamin ) etc

Mineral: there are the inorganic compounds nutrients that help the bone and transport oxygen e.g calcium and iron.
Both macronutrients and micronutrients are very essential to human health

Balanced Diet: A balanced diet is a meal that consists of all the components of food that the body needs, it is also the variety of food in its right proportion for the body's growth. A balanced diet food helps the blood to glow and also to have a good healthy lifestyle. A balanced diet can be achieved in a day

  1. Taking fruits and vegetables in the morning
  2. ⁠eating whole grains e.g brown rice, corn, and millet
  3. ⁠having animals protein.
  4. ⁠taking unsaturated fat e.g. fish, coconut, peanut.
  5. Hydration: this is vital and very important, it plays a role in digestion, absorption, and transportation of nutrients which is water.
    Water helps in aid of digestion it also helps in physical activities.

Health nutrition is a vital aspect of human lifestyle, it helps in health aspect by helping individuals to choose the support the wellbeing of everyone.
