Growing up, one session I loved so much in school was physical education class. This was because I was finally able to get away from my books and shake my body a bit. Most of my mates didn’t like that session because they thought the activities were tough and always found ways and means to dodge, but I never did miss those sessions.
Being dull has never been my thing since my childhood days. I always needed to be doing something because I didn’t like being idle. Now that I’m older, physical activity is among the list of things I prioritize on the daily basis. For some years now, I wouldn’t say I have really taken my health that seriously but that one thing I’ve been able to stick with diligently is my morning and evening PT.
No matter how busy I am, I make sure to find time for my physical exercises on the daily or weekly basis. This is because keeping the body active goes beyond just keeping fit for me. It’s helped me in so many ways than I can imagine.
First off, physical exercises helps me release so much stress and feel more at ease. On the daily basis, I’m one to overwork myself due to the numerous things I have to do. This sometimes gets a toll on me and I end up being very stressed to the core. Relaxing works differently for everyone, someone might choose to sleep or just watch and movie and they’ll be fine. But for me, I need to exercise to release that stress and it works magic for me. I’m one to not sleep well when I’m stressed out but once I exercise, I’m able to sleep very well which helps me feel refreshed for the next day.
Also, engaging in physical activities helps me clear my head most times. I didn’t understand why my dad used to sit outside the house when I was a kid but now that I’m older, I’ve come to realize that being and adult is really not child’s play. Sometimes you have so much on your plate you’re on the verge of loosing your mind. But eventually, you’d have to find a way out. My go to activity to help me clear my head is running, most at times. I’ve actually spoken to a number of people who also say running or engaging on other exercises helps them clear their head but not a lot of people like to engage in such activities.
I’ve actually met a number of people who wish to engage in physical activities for so many reason but they find it difficult to give it a try. What I always tell them is, you can never fully know if you’re capable of something until you give it a try. I never thought my life would be this depended on physical activity but thanks to my dad , I was able to give it a try and it’s all history today. Aside all other reason people engage in physical activities, it also helps boost your immune system and health in so many ways. This is a your cue to give it a try. Let’s see how it goes!

After a long day of working tirelessly, a little jogging at night can help clear the minds and reduce the mental stress.
I love gym, but then, i can't actually do it because of the wrist pains i always get. I just sticked to push ups, pulls, jogging and the rest that don't involve lifting metals.
btw, your last photo is really good.
If you can’t lift heavy stuff maybe you should try aerobics , it’s easier.
Thanks, I’m glad you like it.
Exercising often helps me clear my head too, although unlike you, I unfortunately am not able to do it as frequently. But like you said, this is my cue, so let's see.
Stop procrastinating. 😅
