The Tattoo That Appears
When you tell your first lie,
A green goon marking spreads,
With black splatters, like dark wings,
Across your skin, a sinister thing.
The devil's horn symbols sear,
At the end of the mark, a warning clear.
Not visible to all, except the few,
Who sense the truth, and see it true.
It smells like flowers, sweet and bright,
Beautiful pastries, a delightful sight.
Driving your thoughts to summer's warmth,
A season of joy, without a single storm.
But beneath the surface, a rotting core,
Ugliness hidden, behind eyes that implore.
Leaving a sense of truth, a haunting feeling,
A reminder that deception's beauty is revealing.
Its ugliness is hidden, yet to be told,
Behind cute eyes, a dark void to unfold.
A lie in plain black, stark and unforgiving,
A truth that's hard to swallow, yet worth living.
