Yep, sometimes it is difficult for someone to change their mind about something for two reasons: 1) Their ego, it is difficult for some people to accept that they were wrong and believed someone who deceived them. 2) They cling to what they believe because they have many emotions tied to that thing they believe, and it is very difficult for them to change their mind through logic and reason.

in group tasks where they'll perform specific tasks, afterwards they'd be asked some questions and they too will ask questions in turn

It's a very interesting way, and in the end they can also learn to debate in an appropriate way about different points of view on the same topic. Which could help them when they are older to listen to people who don't think the same as them without having to fight.
