My first fishing 2023 (7pics)

On Wednesday, I told you that I went with my dog to explore in the direction of the river. This year, spring is very unusual. It seemed that by the end of winter, there was a lot of snow, but it began to melt very quickly and it turned out that it was less than usual, the rise of the water level in the river was about one and a half meters lower than usual. Every year I started fishing on the lake and it happened at the beginning of June. After a walk on Wednesday, I realized that I already had to go to the river with a spinning rod. The water level was approximately at the level of mid-June.
On Saturday, I woke up at 4 a.m., took a spinning rod, and went to the river.

The day before on Friday there was sunny weather. For a whole week there was an abnormally hot temperature for May. There is such a sign: washed the car, it should rain. It turns out that this sign worked this time too. A little rain started to fall at night, but by the time I left the house, the rain stopped.
I stayed on the river for about 2 hours. The rain started falling again at about 7 o'clock and I decided that I would stay on the river for 10 minutes and go home.
But the rain stopped coming and I continue to enjoy fishing.

In fact, I like this weather for fishing more than sunny. The sun is in front of me and if there were no clouds, then I would be more noticeable and the coastal fish might be afraid of me.
The coast has changed a lot this year. Very. In this place, there were always a lot of trees in the water, among which small fish kept and predators approached it. But this time the coast was almost clear. I always say: the river is a living being.

High sandy shore. Swallows love such shores, they build their nests in them. As a child, my hand could fit into such holes and I measured their depth. I can't do that right now.
Damn, I didn't think there were so many mosquitoes on the river already, I didn't take any protective equipment against them. These little vampires are stopping me from fishing.

Here is a good point for catching a predator. On the second casting of the bait, the pike did not make her wait long, she took the bait well and I took her out of the water.

Here it is the first fish of the summer season of 2023. I can't take a picture of myself with this fish as professional fishermen usually do. I usually go fishing alone.

This morning I planned to go fishing again but to go to another place. But the weather has disrupted my plans, it's raining.
