도봉산 천축사(Dobongsan Cheonchuksa Temple)

Located in Dobongsan Mountain, Dobong-gu, Seoul, this temple was founded by Uisang, a monk of Unified Silla during the period of the northern and southern kingdoms.

In 673 (13th year of King Munmu), when Uisang took a religious service at Uisangdae at the northeastern foot of Manjangbong Peak, he built the temple at the present location and called it Okcheonam.

This is a Beautiful place.

Thank you.

Is it built during Joseon Era?

Joseon is not Buddism's country. It is built during Goryeo period.

I see. It's interesting to learn about the history.
