This month Halloween, day of the dead, will be upon us, so some of our Hivers might be looking for some great spooky images for their posts. Therefore, we at Stock Images have a challenge for all the photographers and artists out there. Can you help us to build up a collection of spooky, Halloween stock images for the Hive community?
This is open to everyone, we aren't just a community for photographers and are looking for more artists to join in and add to the image pool.
What's in it for you?
That's HBD, not hive, because I can't be bothered to exchange it for hive.Potentially quite a bit. Firstly you gain more recognition to your blog and content. Secondly we at Stock Images send your quality submissions to @curangel and @ocd for curation. Thirdly, if other Hivers use your images they can set you as a beneficiary on their post and fourthly, we have 10 or 15 HBD up for grabs.
Entries will be open until 15th October, giving us time to collate an index ready for use. This index will feature at least one image, the creator of which will receive a part beneficiary of that post. Please link your entries in the comments so we can easily find them.

I like the little story with this! A fun little twist.
I'm really glad you liked my story. I had a lot of fun doing this work. Writing and drawing monsters is one of the horrible activities that I enjoy (you know what I mean!)

Halloween franksly bewilders me 🤣 but I "get it" that it's a "thing" for many, particularly Americans. Sharing for you.
It was never really a big thing in England, growing up. I think now for many it's an excuse to celebrate something. In the north it helps get you through the long, cold dark nights of winter, I guess. Something to look forward to.
I grew up mostly with Guy Fawkes night and bonfires. And NOT Halloween. It's odd here in Thailand with a small contingent of zealous Americans who don't realize it's not a global festival.
