RE: Another image of Water

Hi @cc0pics! I’m @ninaeatshere, we wanted to thank you for reaching out to us and being interested in the #WorldMappin project. But first of all, welcome to Hive, and we wish you the best of luck on your journey! We will try to help you in your first steps in Hive.

Since you're new to the ecosystem we'd like to give you some tips to get you off to a good start:

First of all, stop posting content repeatedly with similar texts in any community by asking in the post if it is okay to be posted there. The best thing to do is thinking carefully and reading what each community is for and if our content has a place there.

It is very important that you write a next post introducing yourself on Hive, so that it can be verified that you are a person and not a spam account, It’s advisable to mention how or through whom you found out about Hive and what kind of things you would like to share on your blog. If you share any photos of yourself, it helps a lot.

However, Worldmappin is not the appropriate community for introduction posts. You must check the rules of each community before posting to confirm that your content has a place in it, otherwise it could be muted. You can find it on “about” tab when using peakd.com (another hive front-end), and it is also advisable to check if the communities have pinned posts explaining how and what to publish in that site.

Overall advice is that each publication should be original and unique. That the content is not recycled, AI generated and that it is your property.

I recommend you try to write at least 500 words talking about the experiences you share, this is not mandatory and each community has its own rules, but if you want to create quality content it is better to invest more time writing one very good post a day than publishing three times poor content, because that can also be considered spam.

As for your pictures, you state that they are stock, but you have to provide a link that guarantees your authorship and that they have been take by you because anyone could claim the authorship justifying that it is a free use image. However, I recommend that you share original photos on Hive that you start taking for Hive and that are accompanied by a purpose/story.

Engagement is also very important, making organic comments to other users who share posts of your interest is a good way to network and meet more users, the support is not only that others read your posts, but also spend time to share with other users. Commenting is more important than voting at the beginning, so invest some time in it, the important thing is not to make many random comments, but to interact in a real way showing that you have read a post and you are interested in it. And try to work on growing your Hp.

We are glad that you are motivated to post in the Worldmappin community, this is a travel community and its goal is to create a space to share your experience visiting places when traveling, we love to read the adventures of each user. The photographs must be focused on the landscapes and places of interest that you share with us.

We are open to any questions you may have, so I invite you to our Discord server, where you can ask us anything you need to know.

So whenever you feel like writing about your travels, you are welcome to join the WorlMapPin community, where we exchange experiences of our adventures all around the world, just pin your post to our map.

Here is a detailed Guideline for travel content posting in WorlMapPin community

We suggest you read all the rules of our community here.

For any other questions, don't hesitate to contact our team on our Discord channel.

Cheers!

I have another question regarding the images.
"As for your pictures, you state that they are stock, but you have to provide a link that guarantees your authorship and that they have been take by you because anyone could claim the authorship justifying that it is a free use image. However, I recommend that you share original photos on Hive that you start taking for Hive and that are accompanied by a purpose/story."

Do you mean that it is better if a share a link to some site like archive.org where I uploaded them first?
I do not know how I can verify authorship, I just uploaded them first on archive.org.

Thank you.

There is no need to upload them on a different place first. You can upload them directly at hive :) - If they are yours its not problem. but If its free to use pictures that weren't taken by you, please provide the original link.

Ok, thank you. I only share my own images in my posts and I give them into the Public Domain.

Hi.

This is very helpful.
I will post my introduction post next.
I will also try the verification which seems to great idea.

Thank you for the kind support.

We are always happy to help @cc0pics. You are very welcome.

I am still not able to comment in the Worldmappin community.

Hmm that can´t be true. You are already unmuted @cc0pics.

Sorry to bother you here again, I am still muted according to Peakd.
I have left and rejoined the Worldmappin community.
I also have not tried to post anything so I should not have caused a muting again.
Please let me know how I can fix that problem so I can comment.
Thank you again.

Muted.jpg

Is it working now?

I just posted in the comments and it seems to work perfectly.
I will stop by the community frequently hence there is some great content there.
Thak you for fixing my problem.
Have a great day.

You are welcome @cc0pics. See you around then.

Hi! Thank you.
I am glad to be here.

Ok, I will try. Thank you.

Ah!

Another thing I would recommend is to verify your identity through HiveWatchers, in the following link: https://hivewatchers.io/identity-verification

This is to verify that you are a person with some social network you are active in and makes a lot of things easier.

OCD communityI suggest reaching out to @theterminal who have a lot of experience helping new users and could help you get off to a good start in the ecosystem and guide you in posting your introduction to a related community, such as using the tag #introducemyself

Also recommend you to check these guides for new users, there is a lot of content to learn how to manage Hive, this is just part of it:
