Luckily where I live is like an oasis in the city. The landlord's wife is really into horticulture. So I decided to take some pictures of some of the flowers that are blooming. This time is on the edge of the hot and rainy seasons. The past two days were quite hot and today is a bit rainy and "cool". When I say cool I mean 30 rather than 34 haha.
As an English teacher in Poland often times I had to practice small talk with my students. Most of them were quite good in English, especially the business side of the language but had trouble with small talk because they don't discuss the weather as we seem to do in the the English speaking world. It's a safe topic that no one can really have too much of an opinion about. Unlikely a conversation of rain will break out into a fight. So keep it safe and on the surface and move on with your day. So enough small talk and let's get to the flowers already haha.
I suppose everyone loves flowers besides people that are allergic to them. They certainly make life much more beautiful and calms one's nerves and improves your mental health while enjoying the beauty. Thanks for joining me on my ramblings about flowers and small talk about weather ;)
