Skin Cancer Story part 1

in Natural Medicine5 years ago

Hi fellow Hiveians and Natural Medicine enthusiasts,

Here to share kind of a remarkable story for some natural methods to remove things that are potentially pretty bad. very bad! I started this post months ago but didn’t want to necessarily post it, given I was in denial of what I had. The important thing is to keep your mind and options open so that you don’t let things get worse.

IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE POST FOR YOU

Let’s start with a picture of something fun. Our son fishing! That way it doesn’t have a challenging photo for people to look at lol

I’m Fine Right?

So I’m pretty sure I’ve always had this little fatty tumor on the side of my head, called a lipoma. It could have been a mole, I never really had it checked by a dermatologist but my primary care doctors were never alarmed by it. I remember the people who would cut my hair when I started cutting it short, would always hesitate at it thinking they hit it and it hurt. Thankfully it never really did.

So a few months ago, my wife (@ssiena) mentioned that when she did a supervisor touch up of my hair (I cut all of it but couldn’t really tell what I missed or looked like crap lol so she would fix them) she mentioned it and that it didn’t look right. So I started keeping an eye on it and touching it and it indeed changed. Thankfully I started taking pictures of it as well, since I couldn’t get a great look at it in the mirror. I could kind of see it but not great. I definitely noticed changes in it so I knew I had to do something to get rid of it for good.

So the first step that I read, thinking it was a mole, was to use apple cider vinegar directly on it. It definitely helped kill something but it didn’t go away. As you can see, the color got a lot darker which meant it was dying, at least at the surface.

It was at this point I started to realize maybe it wasn’t what I thought. I was still trying other things though. It was a bit troubling that it started to grow. It was a cancer after all, an abnormal growth of cells. I was still in denial though.

For a couple weeks I was using a mixture of castor oil, baking soda, tea tree oil and a touch of frankincense. This helped in a way, I think by cleansing it. It still wasn’t getting smaller, it was unfortunately growing.

Once it started to get to this stage is when I knew I had to reevaluate what was happening. It was definitely not just an ordinary mole or lipoma any longer. It started to look kind of brutal and it was growing to the point I couldn’t really hide it any longer.

I started to do more research into ways to treat it. I determined that it was most likely squamous cell carcinoma. That’s the second tier in the skin cancer classifications. The first and easiest one is basal cell, followed by SCC and finally the worst one that scares people the most, melanoma.

It was a bit deceiving at some points, I would pick at it and it would end up bleeding but I squished the blood out so it looked smaller but a few days later it came right back.

This is my concoction that I made with caste oil, baking soda, tea tree oil and frankincense oil.

I will detail in edition two the things that I’ve done such as my modification to lifestyle habits and others as well as the most up to date pictures. The method I just started to use 3 weeks ago has worked the best and I’m finally having it go away but to prevent the post from being too long, I am breaking it into two.

You Too?

Have you had any experiences with things like this? I would like to connect with others, especially ones with Squamous cell.

I'd love to see @artemislives weigh in on this one. My instinct says to get to a skin doctor asap to get it checked out. Xx

Thanks Riv, I’ll be seeing one in September just to be sure but I do expect a healthy skepticism of what I tell them!

We always tend to deny. That's our instinct but it may require a visit to a specialist doctor. Good luck.

Yes but the important thing is to be able to remain calm and think about it to make sure we can do the proper treatments. I’ve got an appointment coming in September, I’m thinking it should be gone by then and I can explain to them what it looked like.

Hey my friend sorry to hear about this but really glad you've been able to bring it under control .. I would also advise adding some black seed oil into the mix. Plus I would look into making a separate concoction of eggplants and apple cider vinegar .. with the mother. Takes a few days to make .. but well worth looking into. :)

Hey thanks my friend! I have that on my list of things to grab, actually. Have you had an experience with it, skin cancer?

What I've been doing right now is really take it down with the proper frankincense oil. There are three types of the oil, I didn't know of the differences. Most of the oil you see used is the Serrata type but the Certari is the one that has the skin cancer killing power.

With the eggplant concoction, do you slice up some eggplant and add it to the ACV? I've been drinking water mixed with ACV 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks. I think the combination of that and the frankincense among other things has been what's taken it down, hopefully for good. It looks and feels a lot more normal now but I'm going to continue with it for at least another 2-4 weeks just to be 100% sure.

Well not really experience as such .. I had an unusual black mark/lump come up on my skin a couple of years back so carried out loads of research into it .. but eventually found out it was a splinter that had been in my skin for a few years and my body was pushing it out. But still I retained the knowledge .. and besides, I'd recommend black seed for most issues .. its an incredible natural medicine.

With the organic eggplants .. remove the stems and use a pestle and mortar to grind them down. Put in a glass jar .. add organic cider vinegar (with mother) then leave to sit for about 5 days, can't remember if best on the side or in the fridge. But when ready strain off the liquid and apply to area a few times a day. Also if you can grab yourself some medicinal cannabis oil, that is also well worth applying. Glad to hear its much better .. just keep a close eye on it. :)

As River says, @artemislives has some experience in this and works on preventative measures to stave of recurrences. We've had success on my husband's mole that started to turn bad using oregano oil. It wasn't growing, just getting sore and crusty though, so possibly a slightly different issue.

Thank you for sharing your journey and I hope things improve even before your appointment.

OMG! I can't wait for the 2nd edition. I also have a similar growth on my scalp, my doctor says it's either sebaceous or demoid cyst. I'm always fond of touching it and it becomes really tender and painful when I touch it alot. I've been advised by my doctor to remove it

Hope you get rid of it soon man! Natural ways are the best when it comes to healing.
Glad to read that it's going away.
Can't wait for part 2!

Thanks my man! It’s scary to think of sometimes but we have to stay strong and make sure we don’t panic. Panic is what some people rely on to take advantage of people. I’m glad this isn’t my first experience with taking my health into my own hands.

Hoping to get version two out in a few days!

Thanks for the comment and the appreciation for the win! It was a lot of fun work but I’m tired, I’m going to scale it back this week lol
