And I enjoyed writing about it; how nature amazes me every time. Ah yes, pumpkins are growing like crazy here. My parents and those of my partner have/had a pumpkin plant and they gave everyone they know and still had some left. We even had to decline, because we still had some in the freezer and tried a lot of recipes. Of course they could've sold them, but we are more into sharing what we have plenty of and actually plant for "own use" ๐. Of course we could also donate, but not yet a regulated system in place to do that.

I agree we grow so much more fruits than we will ever eat. We like to trade them with friends and neighbors that grow other stuff.
We have a good bank we donate to if we still have to many.
