Turmeric is a famous spice in Indian cuisine but its peculiarities and benefits are now well known throughout the world.

- It is an anti-inflammatory substance
- Prevents irritable bowel syndrome

Normal turmeric available in grocery stores contains 3% curcumin, so it is sufficient to take 2g of turmeric per day to enjoy all its important benefits.
Bromelain and piperine are able to increase the intestinal absorption of curcumin.
It is not recommended to take turmeric or turmeric-based supplements during pregnancy

Such an amazing herb! I love the bright orange color it has and how it can totally change a dish from bland to warming. Love curcuma!

Wow that's a lot of benefits! Here is a recipe that includes turmeric, it's called "Thai curry." (In case you want to make some: https://thewoksoflife.com/red-curry-chicken/)
Here is another recipe that has turmeric as well. My mama drinks it almost every morning. Heat up some milk (it does not matter what type, but I recommend cow milk). Put in 1 teaspoon of turmeric, then 1/2 a teaspoon of pepper. Once your milk is warm pour it in. Put in a little bit of honey, stir and you are done! It might sound bad, but it actually tastes good. I hope you enjoy!
