I'm sitting here a little bit blown away and it's something I gotta share with ya'll.
A little while ago a friend of mine and I were talking about his current state of health.
In essence, whenever he's not feeling good he just tells his body to heal and so it does.
That stuck with me. Because I knew it was important but it's something I haven't really ever tried.
Right now I've taken a course through Enterprise Academy and I'm currently working on some Quantum thinking type of stuff - watching videos on how reprogram your subconscious mind. Just recently I've watched The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind review notes by Joseph Rodrigues.
A tl;dr version is that using the law of attraction and focusing on only the things you want in life, you can essentially recreate your reality and program your subconscious mind. It's a very good watch and I strongly suggest ya'll check it out if you want to make some positive changes to your life.
I am also currently plowing through the book Pussy by Regena Thomashauer. You can read the book free first 30 days here. Pussy is practically the same thing as the first link however it's talking about femininity and using the power of Pussy in order to honour the self and make positive changes. A little bit unorthodox of a book but ladies (and gentlemen) I promise you'll find some tid bits in there that will stick with you for life.
What does all of this have to do with my friend?
I just tried something as an experiment last night and it worked.
Before I went to bed last night, I took a few deep breaths, focused on my intention and told myself with complete and utter focus that tomorrow morning I want to wake up at 8. Then changed my mind and decided I wanted to wake up at 9.
Now, I thought this was gonna be bogus because I went to bed at 1:30 am. Usually I don't crawl out of bed till at least 10am. But this morning I woke up at 8am. And then closed my eyes and woke up again at 8:50.
Wild isn't it?
And only over 1 little thing.
I'll admit I was a little thrown off with how quick and easy it was to simply tell myself to do something and mean it and so it was.
Complete mental hijacking.
Imagine what one can do if they focus with absolute determination to get the things done they want done in life?
Especially if those things are for the betterment of self and thus the betterment of society in the aggregate?

Glad to know about your experience, thank you for sharing it with the community! I regularly do all of kinds of things using a variety of methods that basically involve the same: intention, focus, decrees, etc. If you want to go deeper still into these matters, I suggest you start studying magical and esoteric practices in general, and particularly mystical traditions such as the Vedas, Hermeticism and Kabbalah, any or all of them in whichever order and to whatever depth you choose.
Thanks!
I've heard of kabbalah and started skimming the surface of that.
Also know about the hermetic principles but this vedas i haven't heard of.
Do you happen to have any suggested resources you could send my way?
I want to nose dive into them. :)
One of the best channels I've found on YouTube for people who want to delve into these matters is Liquor of Wisdom, run by a Romanian practitioner of superb knowledge and a stupendous way of explaining all of these topics. She can also point you to important literature on them, although if it's about bibliographical sources, a great channel you can check is Foolish Fish, whose videos are all about books and research.
Regarding Hermetic Tradition, the best you can do is find the Kybalion and start there. Regarding Kabbalah, there's a wonderful series where an American rabbi explains the topic really well. This is the first video. As for the Vedas, @julescape is the best source I know on the platform for that topic in particular. He can tell you a lot more about that than I could.
Awesome. Thank you very much! <3
