Christmas season started and only 10 days has for the Xmas celebration. In this month @naturalmedicine hosted great contest for steemians. I'm happy to be part of them. Here's my first blog about cinnamon. Actually cinnamon very close crop to us. Cinnamon is a spice extracted from the inner bark of several tree species. Cinnamon is mainly used as an aromatic sweetener and as a flavoring of various dishes, sweet and savory dishes, breakfast cereals, snacks, tea and traditional foods. Countries like Sri Lanka.

The term "cinnamon" is also used to describe the middle brown color. Cinnamon is a name for some of the tree species and some of the commercial spice products they produce. Only a few species of cinnamon are commercially grown for spices.

Cinnamon strengthens teeth and gums. Prevents tooth decay. It can cure toothache. Cinnamon powder and oil heal wounds caused by tuberculosis. Cinnamon oil is applied on both sides of the ears in case of extreme cold. It helps in digesting portions of unsweetened food. Facilitates the air functions of the body. Losing weight in the abdomen. Relieves abdominal pain. It also relieves occasional acute abdominal pain. In skin diseases, cinnamon powder is used as a paste. Controls metabolism.

Ayurveda's cinnamon, which is known as a good stimulant, has a bitter sweet taste. We have come to recognize that cinnamon has been used in the past for the most part in human activities. Cinnamon is also sometimes used to eliminate oral odor. The aroma there is. Ayurveda is a cinnamon medicine which plays a vital role in various ailments.

Though cinnamon helps in alleviating the air, pith and mucus, it is the main one that multiplies. Cinnamon is very useful in cases of cough, heart disease and tuberculosis. Avoiding obstructions in the respiratory system. Helps to relieve heart weakness. It has the cleansing quality of the stomach. Facilitates the circulation of blood.

Cinnamon powder can be used as a beverage. I have seen cinnamon power packet has in food city and super markets here. It has too much fiber. Bite a piece of cinnamon into the throat. My relative said that taking 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder a day would lower blood cholesterol and sugar levels. The smell of cinnamon bark increases the flow and memory. Drinking 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder once a day to relieve diarrhea is a relief. I got big knowledge from my relative person who were instructed me for write this article. I'm a fortunate man for know medical and traditional plants from him. Thanks for reading.

Cinnamon is such a fragrant, warming gift! I love pounding it in the mortar and pestle when I make chai. Also smells soooooo good in my new chocolate body scrubs.

Great post!
My favorite is the Ceylon (sweet) cinnamon variety. It has low coumarin levels, so does not have the potential for damaging your body when eating/using bigger amounts of cinnamon
