Hi every body. The Creator has kept everyone well. I love working in agriculture. I am very happy and excited that my papaya tree is bearing fruit. I will share with you about papaya tree and papaya.
Papaya (scientific name: Carica papaya)
A fruit rich in vitamin A. Raw papaya contains a large amount of digestive substance called papain.
Medicinal properties: It also has many medicinal properties. Worms are used to treat infections, ulcers, skin lesions, eczema, kidney and stomach cancers.
Usage: People eat ripe papaya as fruit and raw papaya as a vegetable. I like ripe papaya very much.
Suitable land and soil: High and medium elevation land is good.
Seedling making: Seedlings can be made from seeds. If you make four in a polythene bag, the seedlings will grow faster after planting.
Planting of seedlings: Make a hole and fertilize the soil of the hole a few days before planting. The drainage system should be maintained. Male plants need to be kept in the garden to facilitate pollination.
Fertilizer management: I give organic fertilizer to the plants. Such as dung manure, mustard husk, neem husk, leaf rot manure, eggshell. Chemical fertilizers can also be given, I do not use them.
Care: The tree has to be tied with bamboo poles so that it does not break in the storm.
Irrigation and weed management: Water as required. In dry season light irrigation should be given after 10 to 15 days. Weeds should be kept clean at the base of the tree.
Disease management: In case of disease and insect attacks on the plant, organic pesticides should be used. Chemical fertilizers are harmful to the human race and the environment.
Harvesting: Young fruits are collected as vegetables. If the skin of the fruit is light yellow, it has to be collected for ripening.
