RE: Relaxation on a Bed of Nails: The Shakti Mat

Honouring his choices and holding space is definitely your job as a daughter. It's his life til the very end even if it's hard for you to accept as well.

I'm so so sorry you are going through this - I can empathize whole heartedly given my Dad's journey and recent death. I was lucky to have a lot of time with him before he went and that was the best thing ever. I'm crying writing this as it still hurts to remember the pain he was in and how unfair it is that this disease - well, is.

Has he got a treatment plan? I'm sure your healthy juices will keep his body as strong as he can so his immune system can help out. They say exercise is good too.

Much love and strength to you!

I'm so sorry, Riverflows :-( I didn't mean to make you sad. Although tears can be so cathartic My dad starts Immunotherapy middle of this month. He has blood tests tomorrow and then 15th has his first treatment... then a gap of a couple of weeks, more bloods and then second treatment mid Feb... and I assume so on until the course is complete. As he is not talking much and I am getting info mainly from my sister I have had to read up more on things so I think there will be 4 treatments in total. If it works to any degree it may buy him an extra year or two. And you are right, holding space and honouring choices are the most important things I can do for him right now. He lives a couple of hours away in Dorset but I will try to get down to see him as often as possible. Sending love and light right back to you, my lovely xx
