Β Β Β Β Β Today I want to share with everyone about vegan papaya, cucumber, carrot salad recipe. My Khmer eat it with vegan spring roll or spring roll meat, grilled fish, grilled meat and everything do you want.

πŸ—’οΈ Ingredients ✍️

  • 1 small papaya
  • 2 small cucumbers
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 big red onion if small 2
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 chili pepper or to taste
  • 1 small piece ginger (not necessary)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp palm sugar
  • 3 tbsp vinegar

πŸ”ͺ Pov's Papaya Pickle Preparation ⏲️

Step 1

Grate the papaya like this.

Cut vegetables like this.

Step 3

Crush garlic with salt, sugar, chili then take it inside bowl then mix the ingredients together. Wait 1 hour.

Yes, it is a great papaya. I am so glad to do you like ❀️

Now if you leave that pickle covered with a cotton cloth on the bench top for 5-7 days (OUT of the fridge) it will be probiotic too! Important to keep the vegetables pushed down and submerged under the liquid to ensure a clean ferment.

I'm making sauerkraut today - you have inspired me.

It is a style Khmer recipe for eating fresh. Some people do it immediately but for me, I like waiting for one hour or tomorrow mores then yum. Thanks for your comment.
