Hai all...today am going to introduce to you an authentic dish of Kerala...PINEAPPLE CURRY.
In this post I will share the recipe and will take all the readers through the taste of this dish
I thank @naturalmedicine for providing me with this great opportunity to showcase my cooking skill.
RECIPE
- take a fresh and ripened pineapple and cut it into squares.
- take an earthen pot and place it in the stove ..
- transfer the pineapple and pour 2 cups of water
- add half tablespoon of chilli powder, some turmeric powder and salt.
- cover the earthen pot with a lid and let it cook for 5-10min.
- take a cup of shredded coconut, add 2 pinch of cumin seeds. Grind this to form a fine paste.
- add this to the cooked pineapple and mix well. Add some green chillies.
- stir well and let it boil.
- after that switch off the stove and add 2 cups of curd and stir well.
Seasoning
- switch on the stove and place a kadai.
- when the kadai heat up add some coconut oil.
- after the coconut oil is hot add some mustard seeds, some Fenugreek seeds, red chillies, and curry leaves.
- wait for 5 seconds.
- pour this to the earthen pot containing our pineapple curry.
Our pineapple curry is ready.
It is served hot with rice.
TASTE
This dish has a sweet taste with a slight spicy flavour of the chillies .
We will feel the smell because of seasoning and has a great nutritional value.

I make a very similar curry base that I love adding fried peppers to. I bet this curry is delicious and tangy with pineapple, such a good idea! I will try a version of it soon. Thanks for sharing chef.
