Greetings dear foodie friends! 🤗

Today I want to share with you a dessert that I loved since I saw the recipe on the internet, it caught my attention because of the fruits that are used and how healthy it can be, because this dessert will be healthy according to the taste of each one, it will depend on the decoration or topping that you put at the end.





Originally it is a very sweet dessert because all the sweetness is going to be given by the fruits we will use, but if you feel like something sweeter as it has happened to me, well you can add a sweet topping, it can be Yogurt, whipped cream, whipped cream, ice cream, or just add nothing else.

Now I invite you to prepare together this very special dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 300 Grams of Apple Puree.
  • 100 grams of Strawberry.
  • 15 grams of powdered gelatin.
  • Mold of 1 liter capacity, I used a liter and a half, it is the one I have on hand.



For the topping and optional:
Whipped cream or Yogurt, you can use any other you can think of.



Preparation:

After having washed our fruits very well, let's start by removing the shell from the Apple, chopping it into small cubes and then throw them in a processor or blender so that we get a kind of puree, if you do not want this fruit to oxidize put a few drops of Lemon, I forgot it and that's why you can notice a dark color in the puree.

Now we are going to prepare the Strawberry Puree and we will use the same method we used to prepare the Apple Puree.

After we have our two purees ready, we are going to pour them in a pot, we pour the Apple puree then the Strawberry puree.

And add the 15 grams of powdered gelatin.

We are going to mix it very well.

And we mount to the stove to the fire medium, until it makes its first boil, there we turn off, it is not necessary that it boils very much.

Once this is done, we pour our Puree mixture in a bowl and let it rest for about 5 minutes.

After that time, it is time to use our electric mixer, the original recipe says that you can also use the blender, well we start beating for 5 minutes and we see how the mixture becomes clear and frothy, at this point you can leave it like that, but if you want it much more frothy we continue beating for 5 minutes more, so we will beat for 10 minutes, at the end we will have a very frothy mixture.

Pour into our mold, I used one and a half liter, but the original recipe advises to use a one liter mold, we take care that the mixture is uniform.

And put it in the refrigerator until it sets, I left it for 2 hours.

After the time has passed, unmold and serve, at this moment you will decide whether to enjoy it like this or add some topping.

Well I didn't want to leave it like that, today I'm in those days when I want something sweet, and since I had some whipped cream in the fridge, I didn't hesitate to add it to this dessert, and believe me, it turned out great! it's up to you to decide how you want to enjoy your dessert.🤤



Yield: 3 Servings.
Note: you can use any mold, my Dessert unmolded easily because it is silicone, but if you do not have one of this, it is advisable to use waxed paper.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un postre que me encantó desde que vi su receta por internet, captó mi atención por las frutas que se usan y por lo saludable que puede ser, ya que este postre va a ser saludable según el gusto de cada uno, eso dependerá del adorno o topping que le pongas al final.





Originalmente es un postre dulcemente muy suave porque todo el dulzor se lo va a dar las frutas que usaremos, pero si te apetece algo más dulce como me ha sucedido a mí, bueno le agregas un topping dulce, puede ser Yogurt, crema batida, crema Chantilly, Helado, o simplemente no añadir nada más.

Ahora te invito a que juntos preparemos este Postre muy especial.

Ingredientes:

  • 300 Gramos de Puré de Manzana.
  • 100 Gramos de Fresa.
  • 15 Gramos de Gelatina en Polvo.
  • Molde de 1 Litro de capacidad, yo usé uno de litro y medio, es el que tengo a la mano.



Para el topping y opcional:
Crema batida o Yogurt, puedes usar otro que se te ocurra.



Preparación:

Después de haber lavado muy bien nuestras frutas, vamos a comenzar quitando la concha a la Manzana, picando en pequeños dados y luego echarlas en un procesador o licuadora para que nos quede una especie de Puré, si no quieres que esta fruta se te oxide coloca unas gotas de Limón, a mí se me olvido y por eso puedes notar un color oscuro en el puré.

Ahora vamos a preparar el Puré de Fresa y usaremos el mismo método que usamos para preparar el de Manzana.

Después de tener listos nuestros dos purés, vamos a echarlos en una olla, echamos el de Manzana luego el de Fresa.

Y añadimos los 15 gramos de Gelatina en polvo.

Eso lo vamos a mezclar muy bien.

Y montamos a la cocina a fuego medio, hasta que haga su primer hervor, allí apagamos, no hace falta que hierva mucho.

Hecho esto, echamos nuestra mezcla de Puré en un recipiente y dejamos reposar unos 5 minutos.

Pasado ese tiempo, es momento de usar nuestra batidora eléctrica, la receta original dice que también se puede usar la licuadora, bueno empezamos a batir por 5 minutos y vemos como la mezcla se va aclarando y espumando, en este punto lo puedes dejar así, pero si lo quieres mucho más espumoso lo seguimos batiendo por 5 minutos más, así que batiremos por 10 minutos, al final nos quedará una mezcla muy espumosa.

Vertemos en nuestro molde, yo usé uno de litro y medio, pero la receta original aconseja usar un molde de un litro, nos cuidamos de que la mezcla quede uniforme.

Y metemos al refrigerador hasta que cuaje, yo lo dejé 2 horas.

Pasado el tiempo desmoldamos y servimos, en este momento vas a tomar la decisión de disfrutarlo así o de añadirle algún topping.

Bueno yo no quise dejarlo así, hoy estoy en esos días en lo que me provoca algo bien dulce, y como tenía una crema batida en la nevera, no dude en agregarla a este postre, y créanme, quedó buenísimo! es tu decisión como quieres disfrutar tu postre. 🤤



Rinde: 3 Porciones.
Nota: puedes usar cualquier molde, mi Postre desmoldó con facilidad porque es de silicón, pero si no tienes uno de esto, es recomendable usar papel encerado.

I will admit that when I see those apple peels going into the compost it makes me sad because there is where a lot of the vitamins are...and it makes such awesome apple powder if dried.

I was also looking at the gelatin and thinking "where is the flour" but I guess the gelatin adds all the structure.

Final thought. Gelatin isn't easy to find here. At least I wouldn't know where to find it. I was wondering how well ground chia seed would work as a gelatin replacement.

Might have to steal a recipe of yours again and see what I can do with it.
